Superior Energy Services agrees to acquire Welltec.
Superior Energy Services, an energy services company based in Houston, Texas, announced on 22 September 2026 that it had signed a definitive agreement to acquire Welltec International, a provider of robotic well intervention and metal expandable packer technology headquartered in Allerød, Denmark. Welltec has about 1,000 employees and operations in more than 50 countries, and its sellers are Exor and 7-Industries. It was signed on 22 September 2026. It had not completed by 28 October 2026.
