Mazarine Energy agrees to acquire Black Sea Oil & Gas.
Mazarine Energy, an independent oil and gas company headquartered in The Hague, agreed on 29 October 2026 to acquire Black Sea Oil & Gas from Carlyle and the EBRD. The Bucharest-based company is Romania's largest offshore gas producer and operates the Midia Gas Development project; the deal is subject to regulatory approvals. It was signed on 29 October 2026. It had not completed by 2 November 2026.
