We are working along our client, one of the world’s largest energy and chemicals companies, to hire a Payroll Coordinator, located in Den Haag.

As Payroll Coordinator, you will aid the organization with an accurate and timely processed payroll for the organization across Europe and Malaysia. Your contribution will support the organization’s commitment to driving the energy transition and ensuring sustainable energy access for people worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of employee payroll, covering salaries, wages, bonuses, commissions, and other compensations.
  • Monitor adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies concerning payroll, including tax withholding, wage garnishments, and benefit deductions.
  • Collaborate with payroll and management to maintain accurate records, generate reports, and analyze payroll data for management and regulatory reporting.
  • Maintain and optimize payroll software and systems, resolving issues promptly and coordinating system upgrades with IT or vendors.
  • Identify and implement improvements to streamline payroll procedures, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for payroll inquiries, providing prompt and accurate assistance to employees and management.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure smooth coordination and alignment on payroll-related initiatives and issues.

Qualifications:

  • Strong educational background in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related areas.
  • 5+ years of experience in payroll processing.
  • Strong understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Knowledge of international payroll laws and regulation considered advantageous.
  • Proficient in payroll software and finance systems, with preferred experience in ADP Streamline, ADP IHCM2, ADP Perman, and S4 Hana Cloud.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, knowledge of French language is an advantage.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
