We are looking for a Sales Engineer to join their team in Flevoland and support the wider adoption of their innovative construction solutions.
This role sits at the intersection of technical expertise and commercial development. You will guide clients on construction methodologies, identify and pursue new business opportunities, and act as the key technical resource for partners and engineering firms across the region.
You will be embedded in a diverse, international team, collaborating with internal specialists, engineering firms, and industry stakeholders to drive business growth and support project success.
Responsibilities:
- Serving as the main technical point of contact for client inquiries, coordination, and issue resolution
- Developing and nurturing relationships with principals and engineering firms through events, seminars, and consistent follow-up
- Spotting market developments and contributing to new business development efforts
- Conducting product training sessions both in-house and at client sites
- Representing the company at industry events, conferences, and seminars
- Guiding clients toward appropriate construction methodologies and structural solutions for their specific projects
- Supporting the refinement of sales processes and the promotion of new offerings
- Assisting with client onboarding, strategic planning, and project consultancy
You translate engineering knowledge into client value, and you do it with clarity and confidence.
Requirements:
- A civil or geotechnical engineering background with practical, project-based experience
- Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
- The ability to hold in-depth technical conversations with clients and professional stakeholders
- Flexibility to travel for client visits, industry events, and seminars
- A valid EU work and residence permit
- A track record in technical sales or hands-on involvement in project delivery
- Experience navigating international and multicultural work settings
- Solid command of Microsoft Office Suite and working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Full-time role with the flexibility of 1–2 remote working days per week
- Initial 12-month contract (with a path to permanent employment)
